The theme this week on Mixed Media Monday is "colours of autumn", hosted by Debbie. Autumn tones are always fun to work with, and I had trouble deciding which direction I wanted to take with this one. In the end, I opted for trying our two techniques I haven't tried before.
The first ATC is done using the "gesso" technique - and I'd like to send a special thankyou to Katrin for teaching this to me :-)
The second ATC is done using the "bandana" technique - and I'd like to send a special thankyou to Carla for directing me to the website - Technique Zone - where the technique is demonstrated.

These are both lovely though the bird does it for me most. It's a great idea to try out new techniques for the challenges I will try that as a way of pushing my comfort zone.
