Mixed Media Monday - Bright Colours

My daughter Nikki is guest host on Mixed Media Monday this week. For those who know Nikki and her work, it will come as no suprise that she chose "bright colours" as her challenge. My contribution to the challenge this week is a bit silly, but I felt like having fun with it, probably the high from all the sugar in my Easter chocs, LOL. I did the entire background for this piece using Easter egg wrappers. Now, if I told you that I chose some of the eggs this year based on their wrappers, you would think I was entirely ridiculous, so I'm not admitting to that, LOL. Anyway, here's my piece - a little bit silly, but fun - and you have to admit, it IS bright!

Since when do we always have to be serious. This is a wonderfully frivolous piece - gladdens the heart just to look at it!

This is gorgeous! It's lovely to see such bright and fun art works in this challenge.

I've been attempting to link my blog to Mixed Media Monday to share my 'bright colours' contribution, but for whatever reason have been unsuccessful.

Thanks for linking my blog up with MMM. It's really strange that I can't link up... I've tried a few times.

This is sooo great! I love using candy wrappers, it's a great reason to buy Godiva chocs....the wrappers have the word "diva" = spendid!!
