Mixed Media Monday - Beads

I'm hosting the challenge over at Mixed Media Monday this week, and I've chosen "beads" as the challenge prompt. It was the ideal opportunity to use one of the gorgeous Nicho's that my son gave me for my birthday. Since it's a fan shape I opted for an oriental theme. I coloured the nicho with alcohol inks and gold acrylic paint. I also got into my stash of lovely beads and oriental charms. The piece is finished off with some Japanese yuzen paper, a computer generated image and a coin in the niche.
